 The Summit Group has issued a letter to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, cautioning him about the risks associated with their $3 billion investment. Recently, the Summit Group has faced financial challenges, including delayed payments from the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), the depreciation of the taka against the dollar, and a liquidity shortage in the banking sector. Additionally, allegations of money laundering and tax evasion have been made against the Summit Group, which they assert are unfounded.





The letter states that these baseless allegations have placed international investment at risk. The Summit Group hopes that Dr. Yunus's intervention will help resolve these issues and restore confidence in the business environment of Bangladesh.
